If you would like to participate in this Workshop please email us at antiquedealers@leeds.ac.uk outlining why you would like to attend and the experience/expertise you would bring to the Workshop. There is a free lunch and tea/coffee throughout the day. Travel expenses are not possible unfortunately.
This participatory workshop is themed on the relationship between the art market and public museums, in both historical and contemporary contexts. The workshop participants include curators, art market professionals, cultural commentators, students and members of the academic community. The Art Market and Public Museums Workshop is the final of a series of 3 Museum Workshops and is aimed to draw together some of the key themes. It is hoped that the results of the workshop could feed into the development of future practice and policy.
