Preston Park Museum, Stockton

The Year of the Dealer trail at Preston Park Museum concentrates on the antique dealers who helped to assemble to collections of arms and armour of Colonel G O Spence in the early 20th century, currently on display at Preston Park Museum.  The dealers include the London antique dealers, Fenton & Sons, of Oxford Street, Liberty & Co., The Spanish Art Gallery, Law, Foulsham & Cole, of South Molton Street, and the local antique dealer Harry Armstrong from Darlington.

The trails highlight 10 significant objects currently on display in the galleries at Preston Park Museum, telling the story of the objects through the dealers that sold them.
