A new thread in the Antique Dealer Research Project is this initiative to try to identify the antique dealers in the silent B&W movie of a Christie's auction sale from c.1924 - thanks to Kate Hay, formerly of the V&A Museum, for suggesting this theme! Here is a link to the Christie's Film.
We have managed to identify one dealer so far - the famous Moss Harris, of M. Harris & Sons - see photograph. But wondered if anyone else can recognise who the dealers are?
We will be posting some more film stills from the Christie's movie in the future.
Thanks, as always, to the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Film Institute.
